There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 09, 23, 25 & 28. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Vincent O’Sullivan Ballinorig, Denis and Helen c/o The Rock Inn, Dylan and Co c/o Jerry Moriarty, Ger McGrath c/o Betty’s Bar and John Duhig Castlegregory.
Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €4,000 and the draw will take place on Sunday night Jan 6th in Skelper Quane’s Bar. Lotto tickets can be purchased online, from any club officer or at the following outlets: Seamus O’Sullivan Master Butchers, O’Shea’s Shop and Service Station, Poff Motors, Noyeks, Byrnesworth, Rock Inn, Dwyer’s Bar, Skelper Quane’s, Betty’s Bar and Keane’s of Curraheen.
Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle 2019
Calling all cyclists, dust down the bikes as the Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle takes place Saturday, January 12th at 11:00am from St. Pat’s GAA Club, Blennerville.
The cycle will travel to Castleisland town centre and home followed by deserved refreshments, tea and coffee in Quanes Bar Blennerville. Enquiries to Maurice Hanafin @ (087)2998206 and George Poff @ (087)6814799.
Unfortunately due to the provision of Insurance and Ambulance services, a fee of €7 per person to a maximum of €20 per family will be charged on the day.
Registration will commence from 10:00am. See you there. This is a nonprofit fun cycle led by various pace cars.
The celebrations will continue on Saturday night with anniversary Mass in Curraheen at 7:30pm, a music session in Quanes Bar, where food & refreshments will be served. Keep the date free & come out to celebrate the memory of local man Jimmy Duffy. All are welcome.
