Lotto
There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 08, 14, 24 & 29. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Mike Farmer Lohercannon, Walsh Family Annagh, Evan and Zoe c/o Mike Greaney, Mary Savage Curraheen and Anne Knowles St John’s Park.
Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €6,300 and the draw will take place on Sunday night June 16th in O Dwyer’s Bar. Lotto tickets can be purchased online, from any club officer or at the following outlets: Seamus O’Sullivan Master Butchers, O’Shea’s Shop and Service Station, Poff Motors, Noyeks, Byrnesworth, Rock Inn, Dwyer’s Bar, Skelper Quane’s, Betty’s Bar and Keane’s of Curraheen.
Juvenile Academy
U6: After last week’s break due to the DWC, our young boys and girls took to the astro this morning and everyone had lots of fun learning their skills.
U8: The academy for our U8’s continued last Sunday morning and thanks to all who attended. It is great to see them having fun whilst learning their skills. It is very important that parents bring their kids to training to learn their skills and also encourage them to practice at home.
U10: Our Under 10 players were back on the training field last Sunday having taken a break for the Dingle Way Challenge the previous Sunday. The emphasis during the session was to prepare for our participation in the U10 Go-game blitz to be hosted by the Ardfert Club on Tuesday 11th June. Following a vigorous warm-up session we had some intense games where all players put in great effort. Gearoid once again displayed great goal keeping skills, Lainey was in top form with some great kick passing, James was tenacious in the tackle, Aoife kept her marker Chloe busy with her great runs. Rodhan kicked some great scores with Tara providing good support play. It was great to have Patryk back in action again and as the session progressed he was settling back to his good form.

U12: St Pats U-12’s were in Co League action last Sunday. We travelled deep into south Kerry to play Templenoe and unfortunately we were hugely disappointed to go down by a single point after a wonderfully contested game, where both teams gave it their absolute all, right to the final whistle. Every one of our St Pats future stars did their club proud on the night. The whole team put in a great effort for the entire game. Gary Scollard had a great game in goals, Mark O Brien, Liam O’Connor, Michael Enright, Enda Sheehan defended brilliantly at the back. Daniel Sheehy and Jack Costello worked their socks off around the middle. Up Front Darragh Murphy lead by example and was ably assisted by young Conor Sheehan, Rory Daly, Luke Passway, Kevin Gaxha and Ben O’Leary. Our next game is at home to Skellig Rangers in the Co League. It’s important ye all continue to attend our training sessions and also keep practicing yer skills at home during the week. U14 Boys: Our boys will be competing in the Central Region competition starting next Monday, the 17thJune. We are grouped in division 4 along with Austin Stacks B, Laune Rangers B, Ballymac B and Milltown/Castlemaine B. Our first match is away to Milltown/Castlemaine B on Monday, the 17th June at 7pm. Best of luck to all involved.
U14 Girls: Our girls had a very busy week playing 2 games and a training session within the week. We were away to a very physical Castlegregory team in Round 5 of the Non County Player County League last Monday and lost our first game of the year. In addition to that, we lost a few players through injuries. Our next match was on Sunday against table-toppers, Austin Stacks B in Connolly Park. Missing some players, we knew we were up against it but as usual, our girls gave their best but came up short unfortunately as they went down on a score-line of 4-09 to 1-06.
Our last match in the league is against Southern Gaels B in Blennerville. Date and time will be made known during the week via the usual method.
Seniors
Our seniors had their first win last Saturday in Round 5 of the County League when they travelled west to take on Lispole.
Missing a lot of players through injuries and suspensions, we signalled our intent right from winning the throw-in, when it took all of 17 seconds to get the white flag raised.
We dominated in all areas and took some great scores including our first goal which started off in the St Pats defence back line as one of our fast improving players carried the ball a long distance, layed it off and received the pass and calmly slotted with the ease of an experienced forward,
Our hosts enjoyed some possession and almost scored a goal when a rifled shot went through a crowd of legs only for our goal keeper to stick out his leg to make a save. By the end of the short whistle, the game was more or less put to bed as we led 3-07 to 0-03.
Lispole came out fighting early in the second half but for wayward shooting and bad decisions, failed to convert the chance that came their way. It was more of the same this half with some great scores put up including a side-line ball that would have made former inter-county player, Bryan Sheehan and current player, Sean O’Shea proud.
This drew a lot of applause from both sets of supporters but the biggest cheers of the evening came towards the end of the match when we introduced some “senior” players, who gave good account of themselves as we saw the game out on a score line of 3-14 to 1-04.
We are at home to St. Senan’s this Saturday, 15thJune at 7.30 pm for this round 6 fixture. We urge our supporters to come out and support the team.

Cul Camp 2019
The St Pats Cul Camp will take place between the 5th and 9th of August from 10am to 2.30pm every day. The Camp provides boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13 with action packed and fun-filled week of activities during the summer holidays. Cost is €60 per child with reductions (€55 for second child and €45 for third and fourth child) for additional members of the family. Booking can be made online at the Cul Camp official website or on the first morning of the Camp. Each child will receive FREE Kellog’s GAA gear and backpack.
