Academy

U6: We had a good turnout of boys & girls today for a very active session with plenty of running. Ball skills are certainly improving in running & catching drills, we need to keep practicing our kicking at home with soft balls or even balloons to get a good connection from the forefoot, keep practice stepping into the kicks off both legs.

Eana Sheehan was fantastic in match play & Kaela Reidy showed her skill level was certainly ready to move on to under 8s. Congratulations also to Anna Poff, our player of the week who shone brilliantly throughout the session.
Under 6s will continue training at the same time for another few weeks prior to our winter break. Keep enjoy the benefits of exercise!

U8: Our U8’s continued their training outdoors last Sunday under the stewardship of their coaches working on various skills and finished the session with a keenly contested game which ended in a draw. However, we would still encourage all parents to spend time during the week working on all skills they have learned so far. Hope to see you all next Sunday

U10: The academy for our U8’s continued last Sunday morning with a good turnout on the day and everyone had lots of fun learning their skills.
