Lotto

There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 13, 15, 19 & 27.

The five €30 consolation prizes went to Richard and Jane Rowan Blennerville, Anne Knowles St. John’s Park, John Duhig Castlegregory, Edward Hennessy Castlegregory and Tommy Nolan c/o Tony Casey.

The five winners of the Christmas meat vouchers were Elizabeth Scanlon Caherslee, Michael Quirke c/o Tony Casey, N and D Ashe Keel, Teresa Ashe Doon and Maura and Jay Murphy Derrymore.

Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €3100 and the draw will take place on Sunday night December 15th in Keane’s Bar. Lotto tickets can be purchased online, from any club officer or at the following outlets: Seamus O’Sullivan Master Butchers, O’Shea’s Shop and Service Station, Poff Motors, Noyeks, Byrnesworth, Rock Inn, Dwyer’s Bar, Skelper Quane’s, Betty’s Bar and Keane’s of Curraheen.

Christmas Rambling House

Due to the sad passing of our neighbour and friend, Pauline Lynch of Derrymore East, the Curraheen Community Room Extension Committee has postponed ‘A Christmas Rambling House’ to Sunday, December 29th in Blennerville School Hall at 6.30pm. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pauline’s family and friends at this difficult time. May she rest in peace.

Derryquay NC

Derryquay National School with the Curraheen Church Choir, present Christmas Carols and a Nativity play called ‘The Inn-spectors’on Sunday the 15thof December at 6:30pm in St. Brendan’s Church Curaheen. Followed by refreshments and Christmas treats in the Community Hall. Tickets €5 from the school and on sale on the night. Everyone welcome.
