Lotto

There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 01, 10, 16 & 21. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Ann and Brian O’Shea Curraheen, Michael Higgins Curragraigue, Mary O’Donoghue Blennerville, Mary Bailey Tonevane and Padraig Quirke New YorkNext week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €3,100 and the draw will take place on Sunday night March 29th in The Clubhouse. Lotto tickets can be purchased online or from any club officer.

Due to the impact of the Corona virus many of our sales outlets for the weekly lotto are not available. The loss of the weekly lotto income from these outlets will have a negative impact on the club finances. We still have routine expenses to meet

Bearing in mind the changed employment circumstances many people find themselves in   we ask our members and supporters to encourage family members and friends to support our weekly lotto by using the on-line facility accessed via the Club Facebook page or the websitewww.stpatsgaaclub.com.

Covid-19 (Corona Virus) Update

Due to the rising numbers of cases of people affected by the Covid-19 virus, it is imperative that we must keep our nearest and dearest healthy and safe. To achieve that, we have to collectively work together to stop it spreading by simply adhering to the following guidelines as laid out by the WHO, HSE and the government. These are:

– Reducing social contacting

– Distance ourselves 2 metres from people in shops and supermarkets

– Stop shaking hands

– Avoid touching our eyes, nose or mouth

– Washing our hands regularly and practice cough and sneeze hygiene

– Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

– Check on our family, friends and neighbours

– Work from home where possible

We urge all our members, players and supporters to follow the guidelines and if more information is sought, these can be found on the HSE website.

As per the GAA Directive, all club activities which includes games, training and all team gatherings have ceased, the club will like to reiterate that our insurance does not cover any sort of training on any GAA ground.  The club recognizes the efforts members of our senior team, driven by manager Liam Poff to assist our most vulnerable members of the community

In light of this circumstance, we are well aware that there are members in our community who in time may have to self-isolate for health reasons, St Pats GAA and its members are available to offer assistance in any way possible in the coming days and weeks to those who require help in carrying out normal day to day tasks such as grocery shopping, getting fuel (petrol, diesel, coal), prescription etc or even if it is just a friendly chat. Our assistance can be provided in the strictest confidence, if required. Please contact club chairperson, Jimmy Mulligan on 087 698 7700 or senior team manager, Liam Poff on 087 654 8691.
