Lotto

Our club lotto remains suspended due to Covid-19. While this is a regrettable decision it is necessary to safeguard the health of our club officer’s lotto players and our many promoters. We will gradually be restarting activities over the next month in line with Government and GAA advice.

We thank all our promoters and supporters of the St. Pats Club Lotto and we look forward to your support again hopefully in the not too distant future.

Juveniles

U6: Great to be back to St Pats football in the wind this morning! We had small numbers of children but plenty of precautions & ran 2 under 6 sessions with space all. We had fun sessions with lots of ball handling & lateral movement games. Great to see children staying fit & active over the lockdown period. Keep up the skills practice at home. Hope to see lots of children return as the weeks continue. No trophy today but we captured a few shots!

U8: Our U8’s also resumed training last Sunday after months of inactivity due to restrictions brought on by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and it was great to see their happy faces practising their skills. Training continues Sunday at 10.30am.

U10: It was smiles and enthusiasm all around last Friday evening when our Under 10 players assembled for a first coaching session since the initial Covid- 19 restrictions were put in place. It was great to see and hear these young players enjoying themselves running around in plenty of space and kicking the ball with great intensity.

Thanks to the parents for completing the 3 steps required for ‘Return to Play’ with the Club all of which are intended to provide the safe environment for play as recommended by the GAA.

We look forward to more of our young players returning to play in the coming weeks and we advise all parents to implement the ‘Return to Play’ steps which can be viewed on the Club website at www.stpatsgaaclub.com.

U12: Our U12’s had 2 great sessions last week in preparation for their County League campaign starting in 2week’s time. Training continues Friday and Wednesday evenings on our main pitch at the usual time of 6pm to 7pm.

U14: Our U14’s resumed training last Wednesday evening for the first time since the lockdown restrictions were eased under the guidance of Joe and Dipo and it was great to see the eagerness shown during the session. There was another training last Saturday evening and again the commitment and enthusiasm showed by all who attended was great.

U16: Our U16 boys also enjoyed 2 training sessions under Liam and Luke in preparation for the County league commencing on the 20th of July. Best wishes to all involved.

Please note that it is compulsory for parents/guardians to complete the online health questionnaire with respect to their child/ward prior to every training session.  Please visit our club website for further information.

Club Membership Registration for 2020

With training starting properly for majority of the teams, it is very vital that membership for 2020 be renewed. If you are yet to register, please do so without delay via the club website www.stpatsgaaclub.com. To facilitate payment of membership subscriptions we have provided the facility to pay by two monthly instalments. Please note that the Club cannot automatically renew individual membership and particularly in the case of under-18 members the application has to be approved by a parent or guardian.
