Lotto

There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 06, 08, 14 and 18. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Beatrice O’Sullivan Annagh, Mary Collins Clahane, Lily Kelliher Lohercannon, Patricia Ryan Derrymore East and Norma Flynn Curraheen.

Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €2800 and the draw will take place on Sunday night October 25th in The Clubhouse. Lotto tickets can be purchased online, from any club officer or at the following outlets: Seamus O’Sullivan Master Butchers, O’Shea’s Shop and Service Station, Poff Motors, Noyeks, Byrnesworth.

Juveniles

The club will like to use this opportunity to thank all coaches, mentors, helpers, parents and guardians who went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that our children were given the opportunity to train and play in competitive, challenge and fun games these last few weeks in a safe environment despite the ongoing pandemic. We however urge all our juveniles to keep practising at home and if in touch with friends, to do so in a safe manner.

Further Covid-19 Update to Clubs

Adult Club Games

The additional Level 3 Restrictions have removed the exemption for Adult club games. The Government have stated that this will be the position until at least November 10th.

In the interim, and while training is allowed at both adult and underage, it must be on a non-contact basis in pods of no more than 15 people in Counties that are in Level 3. The advice for Ulster Counties remains as per the communication from the Ulster Council yesterday.

Other Activities

Commercial use of indoor halls continues to be permitted where agreement was in place prior to March and relevant insurance are in place. Use by State bodies e.g. HSE/Schools is also permitted.

In light of updated advice, Drive-in events (such as Bingo etc) are no longer permitted to take place.

Birthday Wishes

Best wishes to Mossie Quirke who marked his 90th birthday last week.

Sympathy

The club would like to extend its sympathy to the families and friends of Gerard (John) Counihan Listellick North and formerly of Killerisk and Margaret Bynane Derrymore East.
