Lotto:

There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 10, 13, 14 & 20. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Mary Lyons c/o Tony Casey, Katie Burke Curraheen, Carmel O Connor c/o Tony Casey, Val Burke Curraheen and Michael Curran Blennerville. Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €3,900 and the draw will take place this Sunday night December 20th in Skelper Quane ’s Bar. Lotto tickets are available from the usual outlets or any club officer.

The five €30 Christmas Meat Vouchers went to Enzo c/o O’Shea’s Texaco, Susan Keating c/o Jerry Moriarty, Pat O’Shea Currahenn, John and Marie Fitzgibbon Derrymore East and Emma Sayers Derrymore West.

Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle 2016:

Calling all cyclists, dust down the bikes as the Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle takes place Saturday, January 9th at 11:00am from St. Pat’s GAA Club, Blennerville.

The cycle will travel to Castleisland town centre and home followed by deserved refreshments, tea and coffee in Quanes Bar Blennerville.

Unfortunately due to the provision of Insurance and Ambulance, a fee of €5 per person to a maximum of €15 per family will be charged on the day. Registration will commence from 10:00am. See you there. This is a fun cycle led by a pace car.

The celebrations will continue on Saturday night with anniversary Mass in Curraheen at 8pm, a music session in Quane’s Bar, where hot food & refreshments will be served. Keep the date free & come out to celebrate the memory of local man Jimmy Duffy. All are welcome.

Blennerville School Book:

“Blennerville National School and Community  A Story Worth Telling” Is an ideal Christmas present. It is available for €10 from the school, Rock Street Post Office or The Kerry Book Shop.

Blennerville Community Playschool:

Blennerville community Playschool would like to thank everyone who helped out at our bag packing in Dunnes Horan Centre. We raised €470 for the Playschool.

We will be holding our annual Mulled Wine & Mince Pie Fundraiser on Thursday 17th Dec @7:30 on the top floor of the Station House. Tickets on sale for Christmas Hamper Draw and all proceeds go to the Playschool. We hope the community can join us for a hot one and support our cause.

The club would like to extend its sympathy to the family and friends of Sister Theresa Ann Crean, Camp.
