Club Lotto

There was no winner of our club Lotto jackpot of €3900 on Sunday night last the numbers drawn were 06,15,18 & 22. The five €30 euro consolation prizes went to:

The lotto is now a critical source of funds for the club. We are appealing to all club members to promote our Lotto at this time to ensure our club’s future viability. Healthy Club Event

Another great turnout for last week’s couch to 5k the group braved the rain they ran 2.5k to Moran’s Shop and came back by Lohercannon to Blennerville. Well done to all keep up the great work. We look forward to continuing our Thursday evening couch to 5k at 7pm on Thursday evenings.

We have 2 more training runs progressively increasing the running time with the finale being the Tralee Park Run on the 19th of November. These runs will go ahead in the rain unless there is a yellow/ orange or red weather warning! Make sure to register for the parkrun to get your barcode so you can take part on the 19thof November at the link

Derryquay Fundraiser

We are doing a clothes collection for SVDP, if anyone is doing a wardrobe clearance before Nov 30th, we will be delighted to take any preloved items. Contact Irene to arrange collection 0871233254. Thank you for the community’s continued support for our school.

Rosary at Rath

Please be aware that this year Rosary at Rath will take place at 3pm on Tuesday Afternoons not Tuesday Nights when it normally took place.

To Blennerville/ Ballyard are who won Most Improved Area the Owen White Award from the Kerry Community Games Awards for 2022. Also, to everyone who makes it possible for the athletics to take part.

To Tim Moynihan who collected the MacNamee Award 2019 for the special focus on Kerry’s Golden Years. The Programme celebrated the best of Gaelic Football team of all time.

To Deirdre and Kieran Young on the birth of their baby boy Cillian Patrick.

To Robbie and Rebecca O Connell on birth of their twins Bobbie and Ellie.

Home Grown

Make sure to check out on Monday the 7th of November at 8pm the RTE Programme Home Grown, where James Costello is to be interviewed about his business Irish Green Guys as part of the show.
