St PatsLotto:

There was no winner of our Club lotto draw on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 04, 06, 10 & 11. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Liam Murphy Curraheen, Elaine Daly Kerin’s Park, D. Donovan Ashgrove , Patricia Horgan Blennerville & Luke, Dillon c/o Poff Motors . Next week’s Lotto will have a jackpot of €4,000 and the draw will take place this Sunday night January 25th in Keane’s Bar. Lotto tickets are available from the usual outlets or any club officer.

Juvenile Academy: We saw another great turnout last Sunday morning with increased numbers in all age groups. In the U6’s Polly and Sam Jones made their debut. Leah Kelliher lead the way in the agility drills while ball skills are no problem for Nathan Murphy. Everyone had great fun and the fast players caught all the slow coaches in the game of chase. In the u8’s Darragh Murphy, Luke Passway, Daniel Sheehy and newcomer Milly O’Brien put in a great training session, highly impressing their coaches. In the u10’s Paddy Moran and Caoimhe Dairo made a great effort in their hand passing while Emily Roche made big improvements in her kicking. Callum Houstan and Diarmuid Waugh were impressive in our mini game. Looking forward to seeing you all next Sunday morning!

Coiste Na N’Og Family Quiz: will be held in Keanes Bar on Friday 30th January at 7.30pm. Quizmaster for the evening will be Eoin Sayers who promises that common sense will answer all questions. All welcome.

St. Brendan’s N.S. Blennerville:

would like to thank parent Maura O’Donnell for teaching us how to bake bread last Friday. Everyone in 1st class went home with a warm mini loaf, made with plenty of love and care. Thanks also to parent Ciara O’Donnell for taking photos. These can be seen on our website www.blennervillens.ie
The school is putting a book together to say goodbye to the old school. If you have any photos from the past that you feel should be included, or if you feel you would like to be on this committee, please could you call in or email us? Equally, any old stories written down will be very welcome inclusions in this new book.

Please email: brassil4@hotmail.com

The next second hand clothes collection for the school will be in May.

Administration/IT Role:

The club is looking for people to help out in administration, communications and coaching so if you are willing to commit to 1-2 hours per week, we would love to have you on board. Contact Club Secretary Terry Boyle on 086-2361687 or email secretary.Stpatricksblennerville.kerry@gaa.ie

Derryquay National School Coin Collection:

The monies collected will be divided between the Irish Cancer Society and Derryquay School fund. The Irish Cancer Society is the charity chosen by the children themselves. Coins may be dropped at the school during school hours. Alternatively you may contact any member of the school community to collect it from you.

Club Gear:

Our newly designed club kits are available. Please contact Therese Greaney to order same.

Weekly Notes:

Mike Greaney is the new St Pats PRO for 2015. If you would like to submit something for the weekly notes, please email Mike at pro.stpatricksblennerville.kerry@gaa.ie by 6pm on Sunday evening to have it included in the following week’s notes.

Sympathy:

The club would like to extend its sympathy to the families and friends of Eileen Hobbart O’Rahilly’s Villas and Julie Griffin Cockleshell Road. May They Rest In Peace
