Lotto:

There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 09,13, 17 & 25. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Francie O Donnell Derrymore West, Enzo c/o O Shea’s Texaco, Padraig O Keeffe Lixnaw , Kathleen Moriarty Annagh and Chrissie c/o PJ Higgins. Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €4,400 and the draw will take place this Sunday night January 24th in O’Dwyer’s Bar. Lotto tickets are available from the usual outlets or any club officer.

Juvenile Academy:

Well done & thanks to everyone who helped to mobilise 2016 activities  last weekend.
1. Chess for community games will continue next Friday at the earlier time of 4.45 – 6pm in the old clubhouse.

  1. Girls only training will continueon Satnext at 3pm in Presentation Hall.  Initially this will target various Community games competitions ie Indoor & Outdoor Soccer,Futsall, Gaelic Football (Girls & Mixed)etc.  All girls are welcome. Denis Healy 086 1686259 is the girls coach.
    I believe we may have a basketball entry also (TBC).
  2. St Pats U 12 & 14s will train on the astro oFridaynext at 6.30pm.
    4. Music for Scor & Comm Games will be on next Friday at 7.15pm in the clubhouse.
    5. The academy for u 6 & u 8 future stars is on again on Sunday next at 10 am followed by u 10s at 11am. Well done, we had huge numbers last Sunday. Both in Pres Sec School Hall.
    6.  Marie Fitzgibbon / 087 6964673 is the ‘go to’ person for further info in relation to community games. Teams can also be entered in other activities if personnel can come forward and arrange/coach etc.
    7. Denis Healy will commence coaching in Blenerville School on Friday next.
    8. St Pats will enter U 12, U !4 & U 16 competitions in the same grading division as 2015.  We will enter Feile at 13-a-side.
    9. Thanks to everyone (19people) who attended the Child Protection / Anti-Bullying workshop on Wed last.
  3. An award 2 GAA Child Coaching Course will commence on Wed 3rd Feb in Joh Mitchels Complex.  Time is tbc. The 2nd night is in Mounthawkon 24/02/’16 and one evening monthly afterward for 7-8 sessions in total.  The cost is 50 euros per person. Please let me know if you have an interest in same.  St Pats will pay the fee for any coach who is willing to participate.  The award one is a pre-requisite for this course.
    11. The registration night for St Pats Coiste na nOg 2016 will take place on Friday 05/02/16/  More details to follow. 
    U10’s: St. Pats under 10’s  Boys & Girls returned to academy action last Sunday after the winter break. We had a good turnout at training in the Pres Hall. Everyone put in a great effort practicing their skills at training with Daniel Sheehy, Diarmuid Waugh, Grainne Breen and   Zach Howarth giving it their all during the session.  It is important that ye all keep practicing yer skills at home during the week. We hope to see you all at trainingSunday at 11am in the Pres Hall, Moyderwell Tralee.

Blennerville School Book:

“Blennerville National School and Community  A Story Worth Telling” Is now available. It is on sale for €10 from the school, Rock Street Post Office or The Kerry Book Shop.

Blennerville Community Playschool:

From January the Playschool will be relocated to the new primary school in Blennerville. There are some places currently available. If interested in enrolling contact Marlene on 0870564023.

St. Brendan’s Board:

Congratulations to Chairman Liam Sayers, Vice Chairman Christy Murphy and Treasurer Jim Moriarty on their election to The St. Brendan’s Board.

 Engagement:

Congratulations to Eimear Moriarty Curraheen and Simon Wall Waterford who got engaged recently.

Sympathy:

The club would like to extend its sympathy to the families and friends of Sean O Donnell Blennerville, Seamus Dowling Stack’s Villas, Mick Murphy Castlegregory and Catherine Irwin Basin View. May they rest in peace.
