Dingle Way Challenge 2016

The Dingle Way Challenge will take place on Sunday the 5th of June. Come and experience the stunning scenery of West Kerry and the Atlantic Ocean as you walk along the most westerly peninsula in Europe, overlooking the Blasket Islands and Skellig Rock and also savour the magic of Inch Beach.

Once again there is something for everyone – from a single 11km stage along the world famous ‘Macha na bó’ trail, through to the full 57km Ultra route which incorporates mountains, beaches and paths. The scenery you will experience is unrivaled. As usual meals are provided, including a BBQ in Blennerville upon completion. Early registration is encouraged as one section of the walk is guided, so numbers must be restricted. Blitz next Wed in Spa Churchill at 7pm

U10’s: The St. Pats under 10’s Boys & Girls were in academy action last Sunday. We had a great turnout. The coaches were delighted with the great effort everyone gave during the session with Orlaith Murphy, Mark O’Brien, Grainne Breen and Daniel Sheehy giving it their all during the session.  Congratulations to Rory Kelliher on winning footballer of the week trophy. The U10’s have a Go Games Blitz this Thursday May 26th at 7pm in The Spa Churchill  v our neighbours from the other clubs in the St Brendan’s district. Please be there for 6.45 pm.  It is important that ye all keep practicing yer skills at home during the week. Naomh Padraig Abu…..

U12’s: Our U12’s put in a great performance away to Castleisland Desmonds in phase 2 of the county league last Sunday and were unlucky to come up short in the end. Their second half performance was one of the best in recent times and the game would have been a lot closer but for the numerous saves, time and again from their goalkeeper and some questionable decisions but it is hoped that this will stand to them in future games. We welcome Spa Killarney this Sunday the 29th in the County League. Throw in is at 6pm.

Girls: There was no training last Friday due to the bad weather but training continues the Friday under the guidance of Denis Healy. Training time is 2.30pm.
