Family Fun Day & Memorial Walk
Our annual Family Fun Day couldn’t take place due to the squally conditions last Sunday, however that didn’t deter the hardy faithfuls from participating in the 5km walk, which was in memory of our late friend and club stalwart, Tony O’Donoghue. The walk started off at the club grounds, through Curragraigue, over Ballydunlea and Clahane, down Ballyard, through Kearney’s Road, past the village and back to the club house where there were refreshments, mostly provided by the parents, friends and well-wishers and there was also face-painting for the kids. All proceeds raised on the day will go towards the Palliative Care Unit/Kerry Hospice.
