Juvenile Academy

U6: Well done to Grace Costello, Sam Smith, Bruce McMillan and Noah Flynn who put in a great training session last Sunday morning but a huge well done to James O’Riordan who received our player of the week trophy by showing great skill and determination. Keep up the good work.

U8: The enthusiasm and effort of the under 8’s at the Academy last Sunday made the  session very enjoyable, well done to all.

A special word of congratulations goes to Aoife Kennedy who was rewarded for her wholehearted effort by receiving the player of the week trophy.

The attendance on Sunday was very good and it was great to have Rian Flynn, Cian O’Halloran, Sarah Greaney, Aidan and Sean Berry joining the under 8’s.  Rodhan Culloo and James Daly combined well to form a great defensive wall making it difficult for Nathan, Chloe and Niamh to get through.

Sam Jones and Ben Deegan showed great agility and footwork working their way around the obstacle course. Hope that all of you are doing some practice at catching the ball and looking forward to seeing the under 8’s in the Presentation Gym on Sunday at 10am.

U10: The St. Pats under 10’s Boys & Girls were in academy action last Sunday. We had a good turnout at training in the Pres Hall.

Everyone put in a great effort at training with Darragh Murphy, Michael Enright, Gary Scollard and Rory Daly giving it their all during the session. Congratulations to Aiden Hayes for winning the player of the week award.

It is important that ye all keep practicing yer skills at home during the week. We hope to see ye all at training Sunday at 11am in the Pres Hall, Moyderwell Tralee.
