There was no winner of last week’s jackpot of €12,100. The numbers drawn were 07, 08, 16 & 17. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Celia O’Brien, Caherina; Catherine Fitzgerald, Clash; Jemma O’Shea, Betty’s Bar; Luiz O’Sullivan, Marian Park & Batt O’Connor c/o Skelper Quane’s.

This week’s jackpot will be €12,200 and the draw will take place this Sunday night September 7th at 10pm in O’Dwyer’s Bar. Lotto tickets available from the usual outlets or any club officer.

St Pats Family Fun Day

St Pats are pleased to announce that the club will be having their annual Family Fun Day this Sunday September 7th. The first event is a fun walk via Curragraigue, Ballydunlea, Ballyard, Kearneys Road, Village and back to pitch.

The walk will commence at 12 noon. It will then be followed by a number of games for all the children such as The Long Puck, Welly Throwing, Egg and Spoon Race, Three Legged Race etc.

We need helpers to organise events and stewarding for the family fun day. Anyone available should contact Mary Wallace or Seamus Murphy. We would also ask parents to bring some home made cakes & buns etc. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Juvenile Academy

There will be no Juvenile Academy this Sunday due to the Family Fun Day. The academy for our u6/8/10 & 12s will resume on Sunday September 14th.

Under 12’s Central League

The u 12s were scheduled to play Milltown/Castlemaine in Blennerville last Monday night. Report in next week’s notes. We are away to Cromane on Monday next in the final round of the central league. Best of luck to the team and management.

Juniors

The Junior team will play Ballyheigue in the semi final of the Barrett Cup this Friday September 5th at 7pm in Ballyheigue. Best of luck to Pat, Kevin and the team and we encourage as many supporters as possible to attend.

Seniors

Round 10 of the Credit Union County Senior Football League has bee re-scheduled for the weekend of September 27/28th.

Therefore, our seniors will play Na Gaeil this Saturday evening September 6th in Killeen in the St Brendan’s Senior Championship Semi Final.

Throw in is at 5pm. They will face John Mitchels in the final of the St Brendan’s Senior League on Saturday September 13th. This has been scheduled with a throw in time of 6:30pm in Austin Stacks Park but it may be subject to change to the County Hurling semi-final replays. Please check next week’s notes for any changes.
After-School Care 

An after school Childcare service will resume in September. Supervised homework. Large play area inside & out. Limited numbers available. All queries please contact Ann-Marie on 086-8602116.
