Participants can also take part on a individual class basis of €10 per session. If you are interested in taking part, message us on Facebook or contact Eoin directly on 086-3725255. Blennerville / Ballyard Community Games

Last weekend saw the final events for 2014 take place in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. I’m delighted to say that over the two weekends we received a gold, silver and bronze in the National finals. Congratulations to Rory Kelliher who received gold in the 25kg category in Judo, Rachel O’Mahoney who got silver in the U8 80m B final and Cathal McLoughlin who received bronze in the Art U14.

We would also like to congratulate our swimmers who represented not only Blennerville but their county very well in Athlone, Mebh Maloney in the backstroke U14, Sarah Gavaghan in the U16 Butterfly who made it all the way to the final and was unlucky to not medal and our U16 medley relay, made up of Erin Fitzgibbon, Mebh Maloney, Sarah Gavaghan and Ciara Drinan who also did us very proud and made it to the final also.
