‘Home’ Tie For O’Rahillys, But Rockies Will Have To Travel For Their Kerry SFC Quarter-Final

Kerins O’Rahillys have a ‘home’ tie against Dr Crokes in the championship.

KERINS O’Rahillys will play their much-anticipated Garveys Supervalu Senior Football Championship Quarter Final against Dr Crokes at Austin Stack Park,  but  Rockies fans will have to travel to see their team play in the championship next month.

The CCC has confirmed fixtures for the various football championship fixtures which will see the Kerry SFC Quarter Finals played as two double bills.

On Saturday October 1, in Austin Stack Park, Dr Crokes play Kerins O’Rahillys at 3pm and South Kerry play Dingle at 4:45. On the following day, October 2 in Fitzgerald Stadium, Mid Kerry play Rathmore at 2pm and Kenmare play Austin Stacks at 3:30.

The Senior Football Championship Relegation playoff between Kilcummin and Milltown-Castlemaine will be played on Saturday October 1st in Castleisland at 5pm.

The Senior Club Championship Final between Dr Crokes and Austin Stacks will be played in Fitzgerald Stadium on Saturday September 10th at 5:30.

The Intermediate Club Championship semi finals will be played on Sunday September 25th as a double bill in Fitzgerald Stadium with Desmonds playing Kenmare at 2pm and Templenoe playing An Ghaeltacht at 3:30pm.

On the same day, there is a double bill in Austin Stack Park where the Premier Junior Championship semi finals will take place. Na Gaeil play Emmets at 2pm and Glenbeigh/Glencar play Ballydonoghue at 3:30.

Meanwhile the Junior Championship semi finals will take place on October 2nd with Fossa playing Scartaglen in Farranfore and Listry playing Beale in Strand Road – both games at 2:30.

The two remaining Quarter Finals of the Novice Championship have also been fixed with Lispole home to Duagh on Saturday 10th September at 6pm with the winners playing Cromane  and on the following day, Tuosist have home venue against Valentia at 2:30 with the winners playing Ballyduff in the semi final. Semi finals are fixed for the weekend of September 25th.

No date has been set for the Keanes Supervalu Killorglin Minor Football Championship Final between East Kerry and Mid Kerry.

Meanwhile the Draw for the Acorn Life Under 21 Hurling Championship Quarter Finals will see St Brendans play Causeway and Kilmoyley play South Kerry on September 17th . Crotta O’Neills and Lixnaw have byes to the Semi Finals.
