THE Rock is set to, well, rock, like it’s the 80’s next weekend as the Austin Stacks Ladies Football Club have organised a fundraising disco to kickstart the All-Ireland final weekend.
The event will take place in the Austin Stacks Club this Friday, September 18 and funds raised will go towards the club’s participation in the forthcoming All- Ireland Sevens competition.
They are inviting people to come along to Connolly Park at 9pm and enjoy the disco with DJ Francie Breen. 80’s Fancy Dress is optional but obviously encouraged.
There’ll be spot prizes galore and finger food will be served. Tickets available from Ladies Club members and from Austin Stacks Bar, €5 each.
