THE incredible story of Austin Stacks in 2014 is coming a screen near you!
Yes, the Rockies have decided to commemorate the incredible year they’ve had by releasing a DVD of their story in ‘2014 – A Rockumentary’, which will be premiered in Siamsa Tire on Wednesday, December 10.
This documentary tells the story of how the Stacks led, by manager Stephen Stack and his back room team won that magical county championship for the first time in 20 years.
Aided and abetted by the sixteenth men – the legendary Super Rockie supporters – they show the inside story, interviewing key individuals with never before seen footage of how Stacks climbed the mountain and claimed the ultimate prize in Kerry football.

They also capture the subsequent excitement and action as the team embarked on a quest to become Munster Club Champions, a fate that will be known on November 30.
The DVD will be launched in Siamsa Tíre on Wednesday, December 10 where fans young and old will have an opportunity to watch the documentary on the “big screen”.
Tickets for this special event are priced at €10 with copies of the DVD on sale after the screening for €20.
Tickets will be available from Siamsa Tíre, from the Austin Stacks Clubhouse.
