THE Austin Stacks Under 12 boys were presented with their medals in Connolly Park on Saturday.

The event was co-ordinated by John Purcell, team manager, who thanked all involved with the under 12 panel – players, parents, trainers and mentors, and had encouraging words for all the players looking forward to the coming year’s football.

The medals and trophies were presented by Barry Shanahan, captain of the victorious senior county championship winning football team.  Also in attendance were Greg Horan and Sean Purcell of the senior team and that very important piece of silverware, The Bishop Moynihan Cup.

The trophy for Player of the Year was presented by Barry Shanahan to Cian Purcell.  Cian also won the trophy for Best Attendance of the Year.
