BETWEEN 50 and 60 kids received their Certificates for finishing the St Brendan’s Park FC Summer Camp in Christy Leahy Park on Friday.
“It went great, we got fantastic numbers this year and all the kids enjoyed themselves very much,” said Colm McLoughlin, Chairman of St Brendan’s Park FC.
“Head coach Jack Moriarty along with the other coaches put an emphasis on developing their skills – the standard was high particularly among the younger kids,” said Colm.
“We focused mostly on running and shooting drills where they trap the ball and shoot it. They all enjoyed that,” he added.
Park FC are planning another summer camp for the ages between 6 and 12. It is scheduled to start at the beginning of August.
