Met Éireann Issues Status Orange Rainfall Warning For Kerry

There’s going to be a lot of rain over the next day.

KERRY could see up to 100mm of rain in the next day according to Met Eireann.

They have just issued a Status Orange Rainfall Warning just for  Kerry.  From 60 to 80 mm of rainfall is forecasted for today, tonight and much of Tuesday with up to 100 mm possible in mountainous areas.

Highest rainfall amounts will be in the west of the county. Spot flooding is expected in some areas. The warning is valid from 10am this morning until tomorrow at 6pm.
