MET Éireann has upgraded its wind warning for Kerry tomorrow to Status Orange.
A Status Yellow warning was previously issued, but Kerry, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork and Waterford will see much stronger winds for a time on Saturday morning.
Strong southerly winds veering southwesterly associated with Storm Aiden will reach mean speeds of 65 to 80km/h, with severe and damaging gusts of 100 to 130km/h.

The warning is valid from 5am until 10am when it will then revert to a Status Yellow warning until 3pm.
Apart from the wind, it’ll be a wet Saturday morning, clearing to a dry afternoon from around 2pm. Persistent rain will return on Saturday night around 9pm.
