Status Orange Wind Warning For Kerry On Sunday

Kerry  County Council is advising motorists and members of the public to take care and precautions tomorrow, Sunday, from 6am to 3pm in particular, following the issuing of a Code Orange warning for wind for Kerry, Cork, Wexford and Waterford during this period.

Home and business owners should take precautions in relation to vulnerable property and motorists, cyclists and pedestrians should watch out for fallen and flying debris on roads.

Kerry County Council is monitoring the situation and will provide updates on media and social media.

Southerly winds veering southwesterly will reach gust speeds of 110km/h to 120km/h at times from tomorrowmorning to early afternoon along southern and southeastern coasts. The warning is valid from 6am on Sunday to 3pm that afternoon.
