Status Yellow Rain Warning Issued For Kerry On Sunday Night/Monday Morning

MET Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Rain Warning for Kerry and three other counties for Sunday.

The warning was issued for Kerry, Clare, Galway, and Mayo. There will be heavy rain coupled with strong and gusty southerly winds, especially in exposed areas.

Potential impacts include localised flooding, damage to temporary structures, Difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility. The warning is valid from 8pm to midnight to 12 noon on Monday.

Looking at the Met Eireann predicted rainfall radar on their website, it looks like to rain will arrive late on Sunday afternoon and get heavier as the night goes on.

In the meantime, Friday morning’s rain should clear later this afternoon with sunny spells in the Tralee area. Saturday will be a dry, pleasant day with temperatures in the high teens.
