A STATUS Yellow Rain warning for Kerry and Cork has been issued by Met Éireann this afternoon to take effect tomorrow.
There will be prolonged rain with heavier bursts at times, heaviest and most persistent later on Friday. Significant accumulations are possible in upland areas. Risk of localised flooding.
The warning is valid from 12 noon on Thursday to 3am on Saturday. The heaviest of the rain will hit the Tralee area later on Thursday afternoon and on Friday evening, according to the predicted rainfall radar on www.met.ie
