Status Yellow Rainfall And Wind Warnings For Kerry

MET Éireann has issued Status Yellow rainfall and wind warnings for Kerry from Thursday night.

Strong southerly winds will arrive on Thursday night and Friday with mean speeds of 50 to 60km/h and gusts of 80 to 100km/h. There remains a possibility of localised coastal flooding.

Meanwhile, heavy rain on Thursday night and Friday may cause some river flooding and localised surface flooding. Rainfall totals of 30 to 40mm, higher in mountainous regions. Both warnings are in effect from 9pm on Thursday to 4pm on Friday.
