IT won’t be so bad though in Kerry.

Met Éireann have issued a Status Yellow Rainfall warning for Munster and Leinster for Thursday night and Friday morning.

While Thursday itself will be a bright, warm and dry day, with temperatures reaching 21º, they say heavy rain will spread from the south on Thursday evening and night with accumulations of 25 to 40mm occurring over a relatively short time period. Spot flooding is likely.

The warning comes into effect from 7pm on Thursday to Friday at 7am, but judging by their rainfall radar on the Met Eireann website, the rain will only arrive in Tralee at about 9pm and the worst will be gone by 4am.
