A STATUS Yellow rain warning has been issued for Kerry this afternoon and evening.
Met Éireann advises that there’ll be wet and windy weather with localised flooding. Highest accumulations of rainfall will be in mountainous regions. The warning is valid from Tuesday at 2pm until 8pm this evening.
Heavy rain has already arrived in the Tralee area this early afternoon and will stay until at least midnight.
Unfortunately, the bad weather will stay with us for the rest of the week, but there will also be dry spells later in the week to give respite from the rain.
