AFTER the snow/ice and low temperature warnings of last week, it’s back to a familiar rainfall one for tomorrow.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Rain warning for Cork, Kerry and Waterford where they predict prolonged rainfall through Wednesday and Wednesday night.

They say there is the potential for localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions in some areas.

The warning is valid from 4pm on Wednesday to 6am on Thursday. Looking locally, it looks like the rain will be persistent in the Tralee area from 1pm tomorrow to just after midnight.
