Bad weather is on the way according to Met Eireann.

WE may have enjoyed some gorgeous weather over the past couple of days but that’s about to end soon.

In fact, it’s going to change drastically tomorrow night according to Met Eireann, as they have issued a Status Yellow Rainfall warning for Kerry.

Heavy thundery rain is coming from Friday evening until early Saturday with accumulations of 25-40mm generally, but locally up to 50mm possible.

The warning is for Kerry, Connacht, Clare, Cork, and Limerick and is valid from Friday night at 9pm to Saturday morning at 6am.

Now Met Eireann have been issuing a few such warnings over the past couple of months, where the bad weather certainly has not transpired, so they could be erring on the side of caution here. Let’s hope they’re wrong again!
