Heavy rain is expected with accumulations between 30 and 50 mm possible. Widespread rain is forecast for Thursday and it’ll be heavy and thundery, with local flooding possible.

Hill and coastal fog remains a problem with low cloud and mist. Temperatures 12 to 14 degrees. Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds will become fresh to strong and gusty northwesterly, later in the day.

This comes before the expected arrival of Storm Brian on Friday night and Saturday which is expected to bring more rain and high winds.
