STATUS Yellow Rain and Wind warnings issued by Met Éireann will come into effect for Kerry from this afternoon and evening.
The rain warning for Munster, comes into effect from 1pm today until 10pm tonight. The rain will be persistent and heavy all afternoon until early evening in Kerry.
Later, a Status Yellow wind warning comes into effect from 5pm today until 12 noon on Sunday.
Southeasterly winds, veering southwesterly will reach mean speeds of 50 – 65km/h with gusts of 90 – 110km/h, higher near coasts and exposed areas.
