Status Yellow Wind Warning Until Thursday Evening

THE weather has been absolutely dreadful over the past week and it’s going to continue for the rest of today according the Met Eireann.

A Status Yellow Wind warning for Kerry ended at 11am this morning but now another one will come into effect from 2pm to 6pm today.

Met Éireann says there will be very strong and gusty southwest to west winds this afternoon with wave overtopping possible on coasts.

Those winds will be accompanied by heavy showers later this afternoon and evening, but the good news is, after a few morning showers, Friday looks like a dry sunny day albeit with temperatures not rising above 10ºc.

It’s a bit early to make solid predictions, but Saturday looks like a showery day with slightly milder temperatures and Sunday a mixture of sunshine and showers.
