THERE’S still time to enter the Tralee 10 Miler and 5k Road Race which takes place this Saturday at 10.30am from The Rose Hotel.
Organised by Michelle Greaney of Optimal Fitness, the chosen charity to benefit is the Kerry Hospice Foundation. Last year’s event drew 300 participants and a good turnout is expected again.
Michelle says the event will bring together the ideal combination of club athletes and recreational runners over a relatively flat, fast course taking in the outskirts of Tralee.

In the 10 Miler there is cash prizes and trophies for the top three male and female finishers and bespoke medal for all participants.
In the 5k there are trophies for the first three male and female and for the 1st Junior (16-19) male and female and 1st U16 male and female. Again there is a bespoke medal for all finishers.
Entry for the 10 Miler is €25 and for the 5k it’s €12. Online registration is closed, but you can still register for the 5k tonight (Friday) between 6.30pm and 7.30pm and on Saturday morning between and 9am and 10am.
