WITH just days to go, preparations are well advanced for Saturday when Tralee Harriers will host their fundraising Half Marathon and 10k.
The Half Marathon will be starting at the Tralee Bay Wetlands centre at 10am with the 5k/10k starting at 10.30am.
The club has been approached by various local running groups over the past weekend asking if possible that a 5k could be organised and they will oblige in doing so. The race will follow the route of the 10k doing just the one loop.

Anyone wishing to take part can sign up at the Rose Hotel on Friday evening from 4pm to 8.30pm and on Saturday morning from 8.00am to 9.15am.
All runners will get the Half Marathon medal and tee shirt and there will be trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in all races for male and female runners. with Master Category Prizes for runners in the Half Marathon
There is also prizes for wheelchair, visually impaired and assisted athletes. With DJ, entertainment along the route, fully-stocked water stations and an awesome spread at the finish line it is sure to be a great event.
There are still some limited places left on the 10k and 1/2 marathon events and you’ll be able to register in the Rose Hotel Friday evening and Saturday Morning.
