Storm Update: School Closures, Tree Cleared And Flooding Reports

Screen Shot 2015-01-14 at 22.08.34STORM Rachel is due to be at its worst between midnight and 8am this morning, according to the Met Office, but for now, here’s the latest news from around Tralee.

AA Roadwatch are reporting that there are no further reports of a fallen tree blocking the Tralee/ Fenit Rd (R558) at Knockanish and no further reports of flooding on the Ardfert Road (R551) outside Tralee.

Kerry County Council are reporting flooding on the Tralee/Castlemaine Road at the nursing home.
