Striking Wooden Sculpture Unveiled At Manor Village

TWO stunning monuments were unveiled today at Manor Village.

The 10 feet tall wood sculpture stands close to the entrance to the estate, while the boat lies at the bottom of the estate.

The residents of the area decided to raise funds for the projects. They also received a contribution from both Kerry County Council and The Community Fund towards the project.

The beautiful wooden sculpture of an owl on a decorative tree bark was carved by Will Fogarty, a wood sculptor from Limerick. It took a week to complete, while the boat was made by the residents themselves, and took six hours to complete.
