Students To Meet Prospective Employers At IT Tralee Careers Fair

PROSPECTIVE employers will make their way to Institute of Technology Tralee for their annual Careers Fair taking take place on Wednesday, September 25, in the North Campus’ BIT building from 11am to 2pm.

Graduates, students and job seekers from Kerry are urged to attend and connect in-person with potential employers in the region. Attendance is free for jobseekers.

“This event is an ideal opportunity for employers to meet with our students, graduates, and job seekers from across the county,” said IT Tralee Careers Officer, Marilyn Moynihan.

“This is our 14th year running the event and it has grown steadily each year, and has benefited both our students and employers in the industry, as a result of their engagement on the day.”

The 40+ companies exhibiting on the day will be set up in the BIT building of the North Campus and those attending will have the opportunity to speak to prospective employers, learn more about various career and research options available to them.

The event will also provide a networking platform for the employers, graduates and students.

Companies exhibiting on the day include JRI America, XINTEC, Liebherr, Adare Manor, Bank of Ireland, Vmware and many more.

“The IT Tralee Careers Fair offers something for everyone. It’s a wonderful opportunity to network locally, whether you are considering a new role in your chosen career, looking for employment, interested in pursuing a course or apprenticeship, or exploring options for a complete change in career, the IT Tralee Careers Fair is the ideal occasion  to engage what’s out there,” Marilyn added.
