IT’S fair to say that we’ve had a fairly mixed bag weatherwise so far this ‘summer’, so the prospect of any prolonged period of good weather is cause for an upswing in mood.
New Met Eireann reports this Monday are suggesting that this is exactly what we are going to get, with a wave of good weather set to hit us all this week.
Today, temperatures hit the the mid teens and will continue to rise to just below 20 degrees on Thursday, with blue skies and little cloud cover expected.
Tuesday and Wednesday will have very light winds with temperatures rising to around 15-16 degrees with the best temperatures hitting us here in the west.
While it may not last, here’s hoping that we can get at least a few good days out of it, to keep ourselves going for a while.
