A WELL known shop in town will close its doors for the last time this coming weekend.
Mr Duffy’s Traditional Sweet Shop, located on the corner of The Mall and Ashe Street, will close this coming Saturday, October 3.
The shop which is a purveyor of all sweet things, including the much beloved Wonka Bars, has been a popular haunt for sweet-toothed townsfolk and children for the last number of years.

Mr Simm’s Olde Sweet Shop opened in late 2011, before being renamed as Mr Duffy’s Traditional Sweet Shop the following year.
People have been going online to express their disappointment and sadness at the imminent closure.
