THE parade isn’t going ahead this year, but the festive season will officially kick-off when the Christmas Lights are switched on in Tralee on Saturday, November 27.
Everyone will be invited to come and enjoy the Christmas shopping experience in Tralee over the course of the few weeks with a programme of events soon to be launched by Tralee Chamber.
Each year, Tralee Municipal District ensures that the town has a dazzling display of Christmas lights and this year will be no exception with new additions to the spectacle.

The public is reminded however, that Government COVID-19 guidelines should be abided by and the safety of residents, businesses and visitors is paramount.
Measures will be in place to ensure everyone can access and enjoy the town in a safe manner.
The full programme of Christmas events will be announced by the Council in conjunction with Tralee Chamber Alliance over the coming week.
