A NEW table quiz, billed as the ‘Brains of Kerry’ takes place over the coming fortnight.
The regional semi-finals with take place at seven different venues across Kerry, including in Tralee, on Thursday, February, 23.
The Brandon Hotel will host the Tralee heat at 8.30pm with the same questions asked at each quiz by different guest Quiz Masters. Radio Kerry’s Deirdre Walsh will be asking the questions at the Brandon event.
The other venues that will host the regional semi-finals are Killarney Avenue Hotel, Manor Inn. Killorglin, Ring of Kerry Hotel, Caherciveen, Brook Lane Hotel, Kenmare, Benner’s Hotel, Dingle and Listowel Arms Hotel.

Three teams from each venue will qualify for the grand final at the Killarney Avenue Hotel on March 2.
The ‘Brains of Kerry’ Table Quiz is in aid of Anthony Morris, from Spa, Killarney. Anthony has been battling chronic Lyme disease for the last nine months and he is receiving specialist treatment in Washington DC.
This fundraiser will help offset some of the huge expenses that Anthony faces. The cost of entry for a team of four is €40. Phones are strictly prohibited on the night.
