AN Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, will visit town this coming Friday.
He will officially launch enet’s 1Gbs Fibre To The Home (FTTH) network on at 9.30am in Ballyseedy Garden Centre.
Enet, the open access network operator, has privately funded, built and activated this fibre network in north Kerry which connects every premises directly to fibre, allowing them to access broadband speeds of 1,000Mbs.
The Ballyseedy “Fibre to the Home” infrastructure is a showcase of enet’s capability to deliver the upcoming National Broadband Plan.
