Looks Like We’re In For A Mixed Weekend Before The Sun Really Arrives

metMet Eireann is predicting good sunny spells, decent temperatures and it’s looking really good for early next week…Saturday though may be a problem.

Though the weather has not yet hit the heights experienced in the last two summers, with temperatures expected to rise out of the teens next week, it’s a start!

The sun is expected to prevail for the weekend, but there is still a chance of prolonged cloudy spells and  showers in places on Saturday.

Sunday looks better though with it expected to be warmer with temperatures in the high teens and less chance of showers.

It’s not a patch on our friends across the water though. A warmer build up of air has begun to develop and the UK is expected to see temperatures hit the 30 degrees mark.

Back home it’s expected we’ll have more settled weather next week with temperatures in the low 20s.

Judging by the forecast there will be plenty of opportunity to fire up the BBQs and enjoy the back-garden high life of sun, food and a few cold ones.
