THE day has arrived and everyone is encouraged to get down to the Town Park this evening for the Tralee Nun Challenge in the Town Park.

The event, organised by the Tralee Rowing Club in conjunction with Pieta House, is looking for at least 1,500 nuns to turn up at 6:30pm in the park to break the world record for most people dressed up as nuns in the one place.

There will be music, entertainment and food stalls during the event in the Town Park, as well as spot prizes for “Best Bearded Nun”, “Funniest Make-Up” and “Best Sister Act”.
