IT’S time to get back on the bike as the Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle returns for the first time since 2019.

The cycle takes place on Saturday, January 14th at 11am from St. Pat’s GAA Club, Blennerville. The cyclists will travel to Castleisland town centre and home to Blennerville followed by refreshments, tea, and coffee in Quanes Bar, Blennerville.

The annual cycle is in memory of Jimmy Duffy, who lived in Blennerville all his life and was a fine musician and avid cyclist. He was 67 years old when he died as a result of smoke inhalation after fire at his home on Church Street, Blennerville, in January 2010.
