COULD you or someone you know be the 2019 Kerry Rose?

Celine O’Shea, Kerry Rose 2018, kicked off the search for this year’s Kerry Rose at Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Saturday. The selection night will be held on Saturday, June 8, at the hotel with Kerryman Dáithí Ó Sé once again as MC on the night.

Ladies from across the county are invited to apply online via an online application form at www.roseoftralee.ie/apply for their chance to represent the Kingdom in Tralee between 23rd-27th of August this year.

Celine said she has had a fantastic year and encourages women to apply.

“It’s been a fantastic year and opens up so many opportunities and new experiences. Locally I got to open my local festival and visit the local primary school and then on a broader level I got to visit Frankfurt with my fellow Roses, to Chernobyl and this coming weekend we’re heading to New York for the St Patrick’s Day parade,” she said.

‘The experiences, the people you meet and the friends that you make as a Rose is mind-blowing. It’s the most exciting year ever and I’d highly recommend it. Even within the Kerry selection process, it’s such a great way to make new friends and it’s also a wonderful night out for you and your family on selection night. And with Dáithí as host it feels like a mini Rose of Tralee,” said Celine.

Applications forms are available online at www.roseoftralee.ie or if anyone wishes to find out more about entering the Kerry Rose Selection, email kerryrosecentre@gmail.com or find them on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook at Kerry Rose Centre.
