THE diggers have moved in to the ‘Sportsfield’ as the hallowed turf gets, well, turfed out.
A new sand-based pitch will be put down and other works will be taking place in the stadium over the coming months, so the pitch will be closed until around May of next year.
Ex-Kerry and Kerins O’Rahilly’s star, Mike Quirke, gave us a gander at what the ground looks like at the moment with this tweet from earlier today.
