Met Eireann is predicting a heatwave for Kerry and the rest of the country in the coming week with temperatures rising as we get to the weekend and it’s set to stay for a while.
Today, Thursday and Friday will see temperatures around 15 to 18 degrees celsius, but it’s going to get a whole lot better for Saturday and Sunday with 25 degrees forecast in brilliant sunshine.
There’s no sign of the rain returning either for next week, as the fine weather will continue right through on Monday and Tuesday with the warmest weather so far this year possibly on the way through this extended settled spell.
